In a previous blog we discussed how the commercial holidays have displaced the spiritual celebrations. At that time I was referring to the Christmas celebrations.
As we get closer to the time were most Christian denominations remember the physical death and resurrection of Jesus. We will noticed how the society impose again the commercial agenda utilizing overwhelming marketing strategies- It is time to celebrate the Easter bunny! Which means more “shopping”.
Once again we get so consumed by the media that we forget the importance of the physical death and resurrection. It is the basis of Christianity “Death has not power over Jesus”. It doesn’t get bigger than that!
During this season, let’s invest some quality time to meditate about the Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus.
